DRESSING WELL.. HELPS TO FRAME OUR BODY
Whatever your body type,
dressing well is wearing clothes that are flattering and that make you look and
feel good. If you don't know where to start, don't worry! The cheat sheet is
there to help you. We have compiled a list of some of the most flattering clothes.
These items have slimming silhouettes that will make you look slimmer.
1. A skilfully adjusted suit
Be thinner by wearing a custom suit. We have good news for
you if you wear a suit five days a week: sports suits, jackets and coats are
flattering because they give the body a clean, clear and defined shape, what
you need. These particular items help frame the body, according to The Art of
Manhood. A suit designed by experts that highlights all of its strengths and is
not too tight is a great way to make a good impression. In addition, plain
pants give you a nice clean front, while a long coat ties it all together.
2. vertical lines
The vertical lines get longer and make you look taller and
thinner. When you have a larger frame, vertical line shirts and pants
are your best friend because they help create the optical illusion of
continuity to lengthen your look. Make sure your vertical pattern is not too
bold, as bold patterns will only draw unnecessary attention to the largest
parts of your body.
3. Black, black and black (and other assorted dark colours)
Black always loses weight.
Did we mention that black is the best colour for weight loss?
Black and other dark, solid colours instantly slim your body to make you
leaner. This has always been true and can always be. Change your jean lighter
to black and try it with a darker denim shirt or a navy blue buttoned oxford. A
black and monochrome look will always work.
4. Low-rise pants
Make sure your pants are resting on your waist. The answer to
hiding your big belly is investing in stockings that rest on your hips instead
of your waist.
Low-rise pants, unlike regular pants, have a shorter distance between the
crotch and the top of the waist. The low-rise pants will adapt to your
mid-section so that your stomach does not protrude from your pants, as long as
you make sure the size is large enough to accommodate. When your stomach sticks
out of your pants, it shortens your legs and lengthens your torso, making you
look bigger. While we're talking about pants, avoid pleated pants because they
can give your pelvic area a solid appearance.
5. V-neck shirts
The V-necks create an incredibly flattering optical illusion.
The V-neck creates the illusion of height and thins a larger
frame while creating the illusion of a thinner neckline, especially if you have
a double chin. Wearing a V-neck draws attention to your chest rather than your
neck. And this advice is valid for both men and women. Either way, avoids bulky
tissue. When it comes to dress shirts, opt for those with a pointed collar to
draw attention to your face and away from your figure, creating a kind of
optical illusion. Avoid the turtle necks which will make you look shorter and
as if your neck is gone.
